Fairmont ‘Fan Bus’ headed to Columbus

The following is a release from Fairmont High School:

A “Fan Bus” (also known as a school bus full of Firebird fans!!) will leave from the Kettering Board of Education Building parking lot on Friday, March 18, at 3:15 p.m. to head to Columbus for the State Semi-Final Women’s Basketball Game, featuring our Lady Firebirds vs. Toledo Start.

Tip-off is at 6 p.m. at the OSU Schottenstein Center.

Package tickets (which include your admission to the game and your transportation voucher) are $15 each.

Those riding the bus to Columbus must pre-purchase their tickets and transportation vouchers at the Fairmont Athletic Office. Tickets must be purchased by 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 17.

Reminds me of the busses that cruised down to Cincinnati Gardens for the Dragons game against Springfield North in ‘72 after winning the Dayton District championship. Good luck girls! Kick some butt!

$15 is a steal. Heck it would cost at least $15 to drive to Columbus alone!! Plus you get a ticket!! Great deal. Go Fairmont
