OHSAA releases official football playoff pairings

Twenty-three area high school football teams have advanced to the playoffs, according to the official pairings just released by the OHSAA.

D-I, Region 3 (7 p.m. Saturday)

(8) Troy (8-2) at (1) Pickerington Central (9-0)

(6) Hilliard Darby (8-2) at (3) Springfield (8-2)

D-I, Region 4 (7 p.m. Saturday)

(8) Wayne (7-3) at (1) Middletown (10-0)

D-II, Region 8 (7:30 p.m. Friday)

(8) Carroll (7-3) at (1) Winton Woods (9-1)

(7) Tecumseh (7-3) at (2) Kings (9-1)

(5) Harrison (5-5) at (4) Trotwood-Madison (8-2)

D-III, Region 10 (7 p.m. Saturday)

(5) Elida (8-2) at (4) Tippecanoe (9-1)

Apparently they play football at Jefferson but they don’t teach English class. Dat dun sem gooder.
