Wolverines celebrate by watching Friday Night Lights
Dunbar had a three-hour chartered bus ride home after shocking Louisville (Ky.) Male 19-13 Friday night.
That was hardly slumber time.
“You would think that kids would go to sleep, but they were up and active,” coach James Lacking said.
“They watched Friday Night Lights. They were excited.”
There’s plenty to be excited about for the Wolverines high school football program. Dunbar has won four straight and plays City League rival Ponitz Tech at 6 p.m. Friday at Welcome Stadium. Meadowdale plays Belmont in the second game of the doubleheader at 8:30 p.m.
