Halloween preview at Target.com
Target.com has opened their online Halloween page for the season.
In addition to the usual assortment of decorations they have a “costume finder,” which really amounts to searching by category but hey, at least it’s organized.
They also have an online promo going right now that if you spend $50 you get free shipping on most items.
This year’s decorations lineup doesn’t differ much from last year. It’s got fall, funny, gory and typical elements. While Target usually has some sort of theme to their seasonal merchandise (typically a set of characters or a specific color scheme, style of decor) the online offerings don’t indicate one this year. I guess we’ll have to wait until the merchandise is in stores to see what this year’s will be.
Where’s your favorite place to shop for Halloween items?

@FlyingMonkey: I am very much agreed with you on the email address posting. I love the note at the bottom here saying that the blog is moderated and needs approval. Seems to me that if that were true then your posts would be gone.By Jason Clyburn

Hello, I just came across your column while searching for Halloween oriented stories. I happen to be the co-founder of the Prodigy Paranormal Group based in Dayton Ohio. We are involved with mostly local historical hauntings/ghost story. I was curious to see if there would be any interest in working with our group for a story for October? I look forward to hearing from you.
