Souvenir bricks will be available from demolished schools

Beginning July 5, persons may take bricks from the designated areas of Cleveland, Fillmore and Harrison elementary schools as a remembrance of their elementary school days.

Bricks will be available for two weeks outside of the fencing area as the buildings will be torn down to prepare the sites for playground and parking areas for the three new schools, according to district spokesperson Joni Copas.
