Budget discussions continue tonight

City Council will resume discussing budget cuts at their normal meeting tonight. The work session will start a half hour earlier than usual at 5 p.m.

This meeting follows a four-hour special work session Saturday. At the meeting council, through cuts and revenue enhancers, improved the budget’s situation by $1.1 million. Though, there’s more cuts still to come.

The meeting is in council chambers at the first floor of 345 High Street. The work session begins at 5 p.m. and the regular meeting begins at 7 p.m.
