Learn to row classes start today
Frances Mennone, executive director of the Great Miami Rowing Center, told me that its learn to row classes start today.
The rowing center is a non-profit organization formed in 2007 to encourage rowing on the Miami River in Hamilton. It recently held its inaugural regatta.
Cost for the classes is $100. Space is limited, so anyone interested is asked to register on the Web site linked to above.

Homicide victim autopsy this afternoon
Gloria M. Applegate, 32, of Hamilton, will have her autopsy starting at 1 p.m. this afternoon. Applegate was found dead from a gun shot wound early Sunday morning. Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
Police have not yet released any suspects in the killing, but we will notify you as soon as they do.
