Does MTV’s “Skins” portray teens’ sex lives accurately?

In Sunday’s paper colleague Mary McCarty and I wrote about the controversial MTV hit “Skins” and whether it accurately portrays teens’ lives.

The show has been criticized by the Parents Television Council which called it “the most dangerous program ever” for children. It widely depicts sex, drugs use and other behavior that unnerved some parents and advertisers.
