Dayton’s Dillard rests ankle
Kevin Dillard watched Dayton’s practice Monday in street clothes. The point guard turned his ankle in the final minute of a 58-50 loss to Saint Louis on Saturday.
He said afterward he was fine, and coach Archie Miller isn’t too concerned. The Flyers don’t play again until visiting Fordham on Saturday.
Miller said the PG “should be fine by this weekend.”

resting an ankle to be fit for play is just a good call, not a soft one.

The team doesn’t win a game without KD. He is the irreplaceable part. Give him all the rest he needs.

The Flyers would have a hard time beating Centerville H.S. without KD in the lineup. Like 312 said, even with him they’re having a hard time finding a win! Hopefully there is at least a few more out there somewhere.

I agree they can’t win without Dillard. So why do they only have one point guard and two other scholarship guards who can’t play at this level? (that would be Williams and Oliver) Brian Gregory!!!!! So Doug Harris, why do I have to read about how things are going at Georgia Tech? Brian Gregory has set this program back by at least three years. I don’t give a crap about his future and suspect he will be done at GT in less than three years. Stop giving Gregory any press, he quit UD and left a mess of a program for someone else to clean up

Georgia Tech will fail to make the postseason the next 3 seasons. I only say 3 because there will be a new coach for the 4th.

Rudyflyer should know that Oliver is not a guard. The back-up point guard is Parker. He played some point at Drake as well as backing up Staten last year. If Staten had stayed, he would be the back-up point guard. In BG’s system, Parker would be OK as there is not as much pressure to create. In Archie’s system, KD is a great fit. Parker is better at the 2 guard.
