Warren making foul shots, could 3-pointer be next?
After shooting a combined 52.5 percent from the foul line in his first two years, Dayton’s London Warren has been connecting at a 64.4-percent clip this season.
“I put a lot of time and work into it,” he said. “I try to get up 100 (extra) a day and make sure all the technical parts are locked in.”
Warren is gaining confidence in his mid-range jumper, but he’s a reluctant 3-point shooter, having not attempted any treys this season apart from a desperation heave before halftime at Duquesne and a fling at the end of the shot clock while killing time in the Xavier win.
Asked if he’s looking to launch a 3-pointer in UD’s offense, he nodded and said: “It’s coming soon to a court near you. … And I’m going to make it.”

As London Warren and Steve Thomas go the rest of the season, so go the Flyers. Their number one priority needs to be taking care of the ball, just like they did against Richmond (1 turnover between them). London and Charles Little should both be commended for working on and improving their free throw shooting. Finally shooting and scoring a few points by LW and ST (either by driving or from the outside) to keep the defense honest is important. If they just continue to duplicate their performance in the Richmond game, the team will be in good shape. London Warren has a world of potential. He can really push the ball up the court and can drive to the basket, but has lapses where he plays out of control. However, he has shown a lot of improvement throughout the season. You have to love his hustle, especially on defense.By Hank

London has really worked hard. Hopefully he’ll take advantage of being the main point guard. Its great to see him blossom. By the way, where is the Butler fan who posts here now. I wonder what he thinks about his team’s loss to UWMilwaukee. No Way, where are you?By Rick

I don’t know about him making any 3s, but you gotta love his confidence. Maybe next year he will add the 3 to his arsenal or maybe just a 12 foot jumper.By sec 312
