Yes and we’ll be in good shape when the people at ESPN wake up. And we go ahead a win at SLU.

I don’t put a lot of faith in polls. I have watched a lot of basketball this winter and I would say UD is somewhere in the 25-50 range. That being said what is really important is that they win 3 of the last 5 games and keep from any injuries going into the A10 tournament. They don’t match up well in 2 of the upcomming games for sure, so in my mind the next 5 games should tell alot about where we go from here. The 5 day rest is a blessing and it could also be a curse, what doees everyone think about the layoff? They now also having a top 25 target on their back, I am not crazy about that this late in the year either. I was sort of hoping they would be 26th to 30th one or 2 more weeks and continue to do well and gradually climb into the top 25 near tournament time. I still love their effort, I have not seen many teams with their intensity. Go Flyers.

I like the Flyer’s mental toughness throughout the game, but down the stretch they have been really tough, making plays at both ends to seal the deal or come from behind.

I don’t know whether UD is one of the best 25 teams in the country or not, but I do believe that based on their accomplishments they deserve to be ranked there. I still see teams ranked ahead of them (Butler and Syracuse for example) that they should be ranked ahead of. I don’t understand how some teams can lose to teams that they are suppose to beat, and still hold their rankings, while when other teams lose (Dayton for example), they drop out of sight. I still think the polls are a popularity contest and many of those who vote in them don’t pay close attention to what’s going on. They vote for teams in the big conferences who incur numerous loses in their conference and are afraid to put mid-major teams like Dayton on their schedules, so who knows how good these conferences really are?

In no way should UD be ranked ahead of Butler. Butler won AT Xavier earlier this year so lets see if UD can do that. I don’t see how Xavier is still ranked after the week they had. Ohio State is a team that should be higher than what they are considering they are the best team in Ohio.

Good for UD and great for the students and fans to be ranked. But “it don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that zing”, and the Flyers have a tough rematch against SLU as a ranked team, and will lose both the ranking AND the committee’s confidence with an immediate loss. Even if they run the table after that, it’ll be a 10 seed at best if they don’t win the A-10 tourney and have to wait for an at-large bid. Dayton’s got the “D”, but needs to amp up it’s 3-pt and free throw shooting fast, or the goosebumps of being ranked will be gone in the blink of an eye. Go Flyers!

Soooo…OSU is the best team in Ohio. Let’s see, 16-7 in the Little, uh, Big Ten. Yeah. Right.

Maybe if Ohio State wasn’t afraid to play Dayton, our schedule strength would be better…but then again probably not!

It makes no sense for OSU to play a mid major like UD. Maybe if UD improved their program a little big OSU would consider them.

Hey OSU Joe. How can you complain about UD’s schedule and/or the A10. Do you follow OSU football??? Youngstown State, Troy,. Understand next year they want Stebbins!!!

When UD has made it to the Elite 8 a couple of times, then open your mouths. As it stands right now, UD has not won an NCAA game in over a quarter century. There is an entire generation that has not seen UD win in the NCAA tournament. You guys are “Raider Scared”.

The truth to the matter is OSU will not schedule UD in basketball. NOBODY wants to come to UD and lose. That’s why they cannot get quality teams to come in. UD has beaten 5 straight Big East teams. Enough said!!! As far as OSU not playing mid-majors….you better check out your football schedule every year…it’s full of them!!!

X Dave has to be the one wearing that purple blob outfit at X games. 250+ Dave??? Get a life buddy. OSU Joe…you’re a homer. Nobody cares about big 10 BB. Want to know how to win the bracket pool at work this year? Pick against the little 10 in every opening round game. You will be in the running then.

OSU…So it doesn’t make sense for Ohio State to play UD or any mid major team? I guess it makes more sense to schedule and play teams like Houston Baptist and Samford. Did you attend Ohio State or are you like most…a jock sniffing homer. That goes for you too OSU Joe. I read your posts and laughed. Both of you are pathetic.

OSU is affraid of playing UD in basketball. End of story. Thad (is that really a first name?) wants nothing to do with UD. You OSU homers keep playing those lower major teams to boost your records. Ummmmm!!! sounds like there football schedule every September!!!
