Drunken dancing leads to stabbing, broken windows
An intoxicated male called police early Wednesday morning to report that he’d been stabbed.
According to what he told police, the victim, 24, was drinking with some friends at his apartment on Fernwood Ave around 1:45 a.m. He said he was dancing with a female friend when she became upset because her boyfriend was in the room.
The victim claims the female started punching him and then grabbed a pair of scissors and stabbed him in the shoulder and hand.
Apparently upset over this assault, the victim went into a vacant apartment next door and punched out all the windows. He told police he chose to punch the windows instead of the female’s face, the police report stated.
The female fled the scene and could not be located. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital to be treated for his wounds.
