Happy Birthday To Me!

Yep, I finally made it to 44. I never thought I’d see that. Interesting how the traffic blogger, birthday girl, gets to slog through the snow today!

I like it though, and it sounds as if the local roads are much better than the traffic nightmare in Cincinnati this morning.

Since the snow is mainly in the grass I haven’t endured many problems, but be careful if you’re traveling. I leave for Columbus tomorrow, so hopefully, most of the commuters will be at Grandma’s house by the time I leave.

I would expect to have some words of wisdom now that I’m 44. However, I don’t. Inside I feel 18, and sometimes act like I’m 12. I do love birthdays though. I’m not one who worries that much about my age, and friends bearing presents are always warmly welcomed!

In any event, be careful if you’re traveling today. Leave early for the airport (I know, just what Mom always says, but after being reminded to thaw my turkey yesterday, I feel justified in giving the leave early speech!) and allow plenty of time on the snowy roads! (Stop me, I am sounding like MOM!)
