Mobile messes, and clogged bridges
I’m not trying to be repetitive, but Ohio 4 is NOW down to one lane in south Hamilton near Laurel Ave. This is a new spot, and it will cost you 10-15 extra minutes if you’re headed northbound.
You will also hit another lost lane on 4 at Hanover Street which will cost you another 5 minutes if going north.
Today, I would use Ohio 127 if traveling between Hamilton and Fairfield, as the construction is really messing things up.
If this isn’t enough, STAY OFF the High Street bridge in Hamilton if you are headed westbound. They have one lane of the construction area closed, and traffic is backed up to Elder Beerman and just stopped. HAMILTON IS UNDER SIEGE!
Here is what you do: Get off of High Street, by turning left on Front. Go 1/2 block (by the Presbyterian Church) and turn right on Court St. Go another half block and turn left on Monument. Follow past the Fitton Center and take the Columbia Bridge over to B Street which will take you back to Main.
By doing this, I ended up in front of the guy who was in front of me sitting on the bridge. Trust me you’ll be happy!
With all of the mobile mess in Hamilton today, I’m quickly headed out of town! See you tomorrow!
