TomKat synergy!

Fellow blogger Ron Rollins has already chimed in on the arrival of the “TomKitten,” but I just gotta ask: Isn’t it funny how the timing on this has all worked out?

I mean, think about it: Tom n’ Kate announced they were an item last year just in time for the release of her Batman Begins and his War of the Worlds? Now their baby arrives just about two weeks shy of Mission: Impossible 3?

But it gets even weirder (if that’s possible):

News also comes that Brooke Shields gave birth on the same day. You may remember that Tom n’ Brooke famously tussled last year on the wisdom of using drugs to treat post-partum depression.

Is this just giving new meaning to the term “alignment of the stars?” Or is it something curioser and curioser?

All I can say is that if Nicole Kidman or Chris Klein announces something next, we have truly fallen down the celebrity gossip rabbit hole…

Let’s hope poor Katie doesn’t suffer from post-pardom or she’ll be out of the house be she’s said “I do”. Hollywood or Shallow-wood as I like to refer to it, give me a major headache! Get over yourself Tom, nobody cares anymore! Try getting married and staying committed to one person, then I’ll gain some respect for you!

To say that I don’t care would actually require effort, which is more effort than I would care to expend on this subject.
