Braced for the final round at Augusta

I EXPECT THE GREEN JACKET

TO LAND ON ANGEL’S WINGS

===LUDWIG AT LARGE would like to wish all studs & studettes a Happy Easter.===

I’m not afraid to shout it & tell the world about it.

I’m rooting for an American to win the Masters golf tournament at Augusta National Golf Club today, April 12.

I’d love to see a Tiger or Phil comeback, a Kenny Perry or Chad Campbell triumph or a victory by golf’s ultimate grinder — Jim Furyk.

But I’ve got a funny feeling that Argentina’s Angel Cabrera — the most consistent cat in the event; the only dude to shoot sub-70 three straight days (68-68-69) — is going to win it.

I can live with “Angel” capturing the Masters because it would serve as redemption for fellow Argentine Roberto De Vicenzo’s 41-year-old mistake of signing an incorrect scorecard that gave the 1968 Masters title to Bob Goalby.

AT AGE 48, KENNY PERRY ATTEMPTS TO

BECOME OLDEST PLAYER TO WIN A MAJOR

Dear Photoman: How ‘bout my Masters prediction? For Argentina! For Roberto De Vicenzo! Long live Angel Cabrera!
