Have recent reports of air traffic controllers falling asleep during their shifts made you more concerned about airline safety?
JOE DEBOY, Germantown: “Yes. But you just have to cringe and go, because there aren’t any real alternatives to air travel.”
DAVID KAPKA, Beavercreek: “No. Air travel is still the safest way to go.”
LORI DAVIS, Greenfield: “Definitely. I’m a pretty relaxed flyer, but I want to make sure the pilot and the air traffic controller stay awake. Give them some 5-Hour Energy.”
KATHY BARNES, Fairborn: “Yes, definitely. Depending on how far I’m going, I’d still fly. But if it’s close enough to drive — eight hours or less — I’ll probably drive.”
J.R. DAVIS, Greenfield: “Not really, but I think I’ll only fly in the daytime.”
SUNNY COX, Beavercreek: “No. I travel by air quite a bit, and I’ve never had any issues.”
