Were you rooting for Jay or Conan?

Were you rooting for Jay Leno or Conan O’Brien in the late night TV war?

TABITHA GAINES

TABITHA GAINES, Harrison Twp.: “I was rooting for Conan, because I think he has more heart than Jay Leno. Leno was just acting like a baby. The fact that Conan could walk away with 40-plus million dollars is a slap in the face to Jay Leno, and I hope his show is canceled very soon.”

DUANE WARNER

DUANE WARNER, Miamisburg: “I was more of a fan of Conan. I never really watch Jay Leno. If I watch a late night show, though, it’s David Letterman.”

JENNIFER BROWN

JENNIFER BROWN, Waynesville: “I don’t watch late night, so I don’t know that much about either one. I thought it was wrong to ask Conan to move his show back a half hour.”

GABRIEL BROWN

GABRIEL BROWN, Trotwood: “I don’t watch that much late night, because it interferes with my studying. I had the feeling they both were going to move on anyway. I think nobody loses in the end. It’s all about what they feel is best for them.”

JAIMIE ROBINSON, Dayton: “I could care less about either one. I’m not even up to watch it.”

I prefer Jay. Though he does have a few crude jokes every now and then, Jay is much more family friendly than Conan. Maybe that’s why people don’t like him. In today’s culture you’re more popular if you’re obnoxiously dirty-minded.

Neither. I wish they would both find a different occupation, like barnacle scraping or coffin manufacturing.
