Is Jesse James really sorry he cheated on Sandra Bullock
In an interview set to air tonight on ABC’s Nightline, Jesse James says he cheated on his soon-to-be ex-wife Sandra Bullock because he was self-destructive and that he lied to everyone, even himself.
James said it was hard to see Bullock on “People” magazine with the adopted baby boy they planned to raise together.
“It made me sad, but I realize why things have to be done in a certain way,” he said in a “Good Morning America” preview, apparently referring to how adoption official saw his affair with tattoo model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee.
James says Bullock is an amazing mother.
“She’s like a fish to water. As soon as she put that baby in her hand it was automatic and amazing,” he said.
When asked why he and Bullock decided to adopt a black child, James said “I want the baby that needs us the most.”
Despite a US Weekly photo if him pretending to be Hitler, James said he is not a racist. The photo was a stupid joke that is far from funny now, he said.
“I think out of anything this is why I’m doing this interview the most,” he say in a clip. “Because dealing with losing my marriage and my son and embarrassing everyone and decimating my life. But to be called a racist on top of that, it makes me really sad seeing the photo and the way I look. I don’t even remember taking the photo.”
In an earlier teaser, James said he never wanted to hurt Bullock.
“I knew it was horrible. It made me feel horrible,” he says in a teaser posted on Nightline’s web site. “I knew I would get caught eventually and I think I wanted to get caught… It was me trying to self-sabotage my life.”
James seriously looks sad, but you’ve got to wonder if he really is. Is he sorry or just sorry he basically got caught with his pants down?

This guy just doesn’t seem to get it…but then, he never got it b4 this latest upheaval. The man seems a genius at building and marketing bikes, as well as marketing himself on the tube. But years back when he announced on TV he is “cool” and he knows “cool”, I thought him a “ditz”. My opinion is unchanged. Celebs just need to remember they have foibles just as do the rest of us…and not to believe their own press. Sadly, his wife and son suffer as a result of his egoism.

First of all, why in the world would anyone even think about cheating on such a beautiful woman as Sandra Bullock! If she is in your bed, you shouldn’t want anyone else. Then again, men are stupid.

He has piggy eyes. The show “Issues” tonight has some good guests that will reveal some new information about Jesse. My advice-Keep it in your pants, mister!!!

Who gives a crap?? It’s his business if he wants to cheat. Stupid tabloid media tries to make it “our” business. He could screw squirrels on live television and I wouldn’t care.

The guy’s a loser. Never liked his bogus Monster Garage, never understood why Bullock would even associate with a guy once married to a drug addicted porn star. My condolences to Bullock.

I agree with most here that James is a loser who’s ‘sub-culture’ appeal was media driven. But, I can’t let Bullock off the hook here in her choices. It’s not as if she married a 9 to 5’er who, upon reaching middle age, went off on a sex binge. Duh, if you marry a ‘bad boy’ or ‘bad girl’ then why be indignant when they are ‘bad?’ The story of the Scorpion and the Frog comes to mind…..

I saw the interview and I have to tell you. I believe him. I think he was a tortured soul. BUT, now that he understands why he behaved the way he did, he should be all about making it right with his relationships — whether it’s with Sandra or not.
