Leno said that he regrets the Tonight Show flip-flop disaster wasn’t handled better, but he said he doesn’t know what he would do differently.

He said he couldn’t leave his staff high and dry.

“By walking away that is an ego decision,” Leno said. “‘You all fend for yourselves. Good luck finding job. I am out of here.’”

Oprah didn’t let him off easily, asking why he didn’t quit like Conan did.

“I could have done that, but I didn’t,” he said. “They offered me my old job back which is a dream job. I said OK.”

Leno said the key to this whole thing is not to be bitter.

“I think Conan said it best when he said ‘don’t be cynical’,” Leno said.

Leno said that he hasn’t spoken to Conan because the time has not been right.

He said he would like to have O’Brien on his show in the future, but doesn’t know if O’Brien would be willing .

He said he thought O’Brien would have a successful show on FOX or where ever he ends up.

We will all compete again,” he said. “May the best man win.”

In an interview with The Daily Beast, Monjack says he plans to file a wrongful death claim against Warner Brothers.

“They killed her,” he said.

Murphy’s husband and mother are convinced that she died of a heart attack brought on by stress caused by the studio’s actions.

Warner Brothers canceled Murphy’s contract just two weeks before her death.

Monjack said his wife was devastated when she was fired from the sequel to “Happy Feet.” A month before she was fired from the movie “The Caller.”

Reports had it that Monjack was a drunken fool on the film’s Puerto Rican set and that’s why Murphy was fired.

Monjack denies being drunk and foolish.

“Every story needs a villain, and everyone has decided it is me,” he said in The Daily Beast article.

Although she’s been spotted without her wedding ring, it seems the former swimwear model has visited her skirt-chasing golfing great at a Hattiesburg, Miss sex rehabilitation facility.

As PEOPLE magazinehas it, Elin doesn’t want her young sons, Sam and Charlie, to grow up in a broken home.

“Elin wants a solid family life,” a Florida source reportedly told the magazine. ” She wants to keep her family together even if she and Tiger live together as friends instead of lovers.”

Yeah, that sounds healthy.
