Sarah Palin signs deal with Fox News

We now know Sarah Palin’s next move.

The pitbull in lipstick has landed a job with FOX News.

The former Alaska governor will be a regular Fox News commentator, the cable channel announced Monday.

Palin, who has a journalism background, can’t wait to get started.

“I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News,” Palin said in a statement. “It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news.”

Palin, who ran for vice president in 2008, will take part in special event political programming for Fox Broadcasting. She will also host episodes of Fox’s “Real American Stories.”

How will Palin do?

A liberal hates what they fear the most. Just as a conservative hates what they fear the most. The only difference is, one hates all conservatives and embraces socialism and Marxism. The other hates socialism and Marxism and embraces conservatism. Just as the old saying goes Liberals read Marx, Conservative understand it.

She lied about the bridge to nowhere. She lied about the firing of the town librarian, and the police chief of Wasilla. She lied about taking a pay cut as mayor. She misleads, misquotes, and makes the kind of mistakes that would embarrass and shame anyone with any hint of ethics. All of which makes her a perfect addition to all the fine fools at Fox. I can’t wait to see just what kind of idiotic nonsense she’ll be spewing now.

By Jim

From the book “Game Change”: In the days leading up to an interview with ABC News’ Charlie Gibson, aides were worried with Ms. Palin’s grasp of facts. She couldn’t explain why North and South Korea were separate nations and she did not know what the Federal Reserve did. She also said she believed Saddam Hussein attacked the United States on Sept. 11, 2001.

Schmidt’s interview included discussion of other Palin-related anecdotes from Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s Game Change: •Palin was chosen—over a dinner of “deep fried burritos”—out of “desperation” when the campaign realized Joe Lieberman was no longer an option. •McCain’s campaign manager found Palin while scouring the Internet for potential female candidates—and the book alleges that her background check consisted of one lawyer searching the Internet. •”In the immediate aftermath” of Palin’s selection, “it was clear to us that we had a lot of work to do,” Schmidt says. Heilemann goes further: “Her foreign policy tutors are literally taking her through, ‘This is World War I, this is World War II, this is the Korean War. This is the how the Cold War worked.’ Schmidt had gone to them and said, ‘She knows nothing.’” •Why did Palin perform so poorly in the infamous Katie Couric interview? Schmidt says, “she did not prepare for it. She was focused that morning on answering 10 written questions from a small newspaper in Alaska called the Matsu Valley Frontiersman.” (Google Game Changers and Sarah Palin) You don’t have to be from the political left to think of Sarah Palin as a moron are to think of tea party activists as dumb as bricks.

And just because she was governor for a year and half means little. Alaska has a smaller population than our metro area, with a huge influx of federal money. Anyone with half a brain could run that state. Putting Palin in the White house would be the equivalent of putting McLin in the White house.

I beieve if the media paid as much attention to Mr O’s gaffes, mis statements, lies and uuhhs, he’d be perceived as a dunce by a lot of folks as well. It’s a bit sad to see just how effective the NeoCons have been in creating the facade of Sarah Palin. She has a history of dropping out of college, quitting jobs, and blowing off commitments, and they talk about her character. She “authors” a book filled with errors and continually stomps on the truth when speaking, and apparently didn’t know there’s both a North and South Korea, and they talk about her competence. She avoids taking questions from any reporter that’s not throwing softballs at her, and gets in a huff when mean ol’ Katie Couric asks a hard, hard question like “what do you read,” and they talks about her courage. When those of us who are not drawn into this cult of personality point out her all too obvious flaws our facts aren’t attacked—they can’t be—so the childish name calling begins with all the taunts and trite words and phrases a select few have learned from the Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh, and Savage. The true conservatives, not the NeoCons, who care about this county need to get out of this game and recognize they’ve got to find someone better than Palin. She can only continue to drag you down into complete irrelevance.

Irishguy, At least the Senator had years of Big State legislative experience, a law degree, and taught Constitutional Law for 12 years. (At a university Palin couldn’t get into today as an undergrad) He at least has a world view with education (Columbia) in Political science and international studies. He would know what you’re talking about if asked about Tbilisi, the Kordi Gorge, or the Swath Valley, and he could find them on a map. One more comment. The Fox news channel leans to the right but even close to how far the Networks, MSNBC and CNN lean to the left. Try watching the FoxNews channel instead of again making stupid comments. Come on Hollywood, the education system, music, all the other news channels, PBS and most newspapers all lean way to the left. Is the one conservative cable channel that much of a problem for you liberals, lol. You can’t stand to have the other side stated because it ruins your little agenda of brainwashing people.

Irishguy, Political experience? Two terms as mayor in a small town of less than 10k? A town she left 22 million in debt after hiring a city manager to run the city for her ? Two years as governor in a state that’s flush with federal money and has fewer people than metro Dayton? We do know that Obama graduated from Columbia, and Magna C*m Laude from Harvard Law School. We also know that Palin dropped out of 4 different colleges in five years before finally completing a Bachelor’s degree. We do know she quit on the people of Alaska for a book (Ms. Journalism degree) couldn’t write for herself. We do know she couldn’t name ONE supreme court decision, or name one newspaper she reads. (probably because she doesn’t read any) We do know she thinks there’s a department of law, and that the VP is the supreme ruler of the Senate. We know she believes that you can “pray away gay”, and lastly, we do know that you can “actually see Russia from Alaska”.

The only positive thing about having Palin on FOX “news” is that maybe … just maybe … she will be on more than Ann Coulter or “the architect” (LOL) Karl Rove. Ann, however, will get mad that someone that IS good looking and a female will be on the TV screen more than her.

Clearly Ms. Palin has completely dismissed any thought of running for any major office in the future. Her FOX commentaries will provide plenty of video proof that she doesn’t care if she’s lying or underinformed, suffers from a narcissistic disorder, and makes no sense when she talks. She WILL, however, make plenty of money during this FOX run for herself and the network so it was good business on the network’s part.

Why do the neo cons assume that the world is comprised of just liberals and conservatives? I read the the comments and I can’t help thinking that too many of these folks suffer from a lack of a good education. These folks want some sort of cultural war with Hollywood while America continues to suffer. Here’s a thought: go to the library and read The Earth is Flat. You might then have meaningful insights to contribute to discussions about America’s future.

As a longstanding member of Mensa, I can tell you that the crap you see posted on the Internet is nothing like the “real” IQ test. Don’t you laugh when you read all the comments about Tina Fey’s Saturday Night Live skit that are associated to Mrs. Palin. No wonder these liberal idiots voted for Obama. Who the heck cares if Palin knew where Tbilisi or the Swath Valley was? Did you just look it up? Tina Fey said she could see Russia from Alaska while pretending to be Sarah Palin. I won’t even acknowledge the rest of your diatribes. Go back to the comics. That’s where your intellect resides. You keep bringing up Palin’s lack of experience, and citing Obama’s illustrious career. Give us a break. He was an absentee Senator for a couple of years where he nearly always voted “present”. Wouldn’t want him to actually be decisive would we? Maybe that’s why he hasn’t fulfilled a single campaign promise, but continues to lie through his teeth. You are so darn brain washed. Jim, now you are really impressing me with your keen intellect. I will admit that many Americans probably heard about Tbilisi and the Kordi Gorge, and perhaps why they were important at the time. But I will still bet you anything you want that MOST Americans didn’t have a clue where they were, at least not specifically. Not knowing where individual battles take place in Pakistan or Georgia is NOT important to anyone except the military. It is really only important that a Presidential hopeful understands who is at war globally and why. More specifically, how it might effect the United States economy and our Security. If Sarah Palin understood why Russia invaded Georgia and how it might affect us, that is a good enough starting point. I admit that I couldn’t point to Nagasaki or Hiroshima on a map without a few minutes to study, but I can surely tell you how they were important towards the end of WW2 and why. You learn a big word and decide to try to impress your pals with your unbelievable knowledge of minutia. Meanwhile, you completely miss the big picture! Do you highlight the big words in all those newspapers you read?

Greg, it is really not debatable that if you did not let the stupid half of our Society vote, no Liberal would ever get elected to office. Before you rake me over the coals for that remark, please look at the voting demographic at ANY reputable news site. The poor, the homeless, the people on public assistance …They carried Barack in the last election. People who earn their keep and own property typically don’t vote for Liberals. (I didn’t say Democrats)For many of us, it was a lesser of two evils type election. people keep comparing her credentials to Obama’s but fail to realize, she was running for Vice President. Then they take McCains overwhelming margin of experience and call it “More of the same”. It was a great campaign. Unfortunately we ended up with a Socialist Commie as our President.

It’s interesting how the Liberals have started to blame Fox News for everything. If you slam them with a undisputable fact, they scream about it being Fox rhetoric. To Jason, during the campaign, CNN and ABC posted several reasons why a person would vote present in the Illinois Senate. They were pretty much what the other guy said, so its clearly not a Fox canned argument. You can form your own opinion why Obama chose to do it. You still haven’t told us why you think he did. You just keep blaming Fox News. You sound smart, so tell us a fact or two. Something that could be verified. At the closest distance between Little Diomede and Big Diomede, the two islands are about 4 km (2.5 mi) apart. The small habitation on Little Diomede Island is centered to the west side of the island at the village of Diomede. The Big Diomede Island is considered the easternmost point of Russia.
