DISSED! What should Conan Do?

Getting dissed is never easy. Being dissed in front of the nation … geez.

Needless to say Conan O’Brien can’t be too pleased that NBC is tearing a way his time slot and giving it to Jay Leno.

If you haven’t heard, Jay is going be back on NBC at 11:35 p.m. for a half hour show.

How could he be anything but disappointed?

The leggy redhead fought long and hard to get the “Tonight Show” gig. Mere months after finally landing it, it is snatched a way.

But what should Conan do?

* Word has it that FOX is interested in stealing him from NBC.

* NBC is not totally kicking Conan to the curb. They’ve offered him a show at 12:05 a.m. At least he’s still better than Jimmy Fallon who would come on at 1:05 a.m.

* Conan could always leave late night altogether or go nuts, revealing all of the network’s deep dark secrets. (it’s a corporation, I am sure he knows some.)

What do you think Conan should do? While you’re at it, whose your favorite late night host? Click here to let us know.

He’s not even that good…and the economy is bad. He should ensure he has a job by taking the 12:05 gig.

If this were a true working environment, when someone doesn’t live up to their job (get ratings) then they are fired. So, fire Jay and Conan and find others to fill the slots. Give Arsenio Hall a show again, he could carry an audience. Or maybe actually fill the slots with inventive programming, you know, something besides talk and reality television.

Leno did have a couple of good guests, but I don’t really like him or O’Brien. I won’t watch Conan whenever he’s on. With all the channels, there really aren’t many good programs on TV.

Take his silly comedy and red hair and move to Ireland. Maybe Guinness is hiring.

The Tonight Show ended with Johnny Carson’s departure. Leno is unoriginal and relies on staff writers, but is still better than Conan, who should seek work elsewhere. Letterman is the big beneficiary here, whether he deserves it or not. Personally, I watch Craig Ferguson if i can stay up that long-he’s original and is a king of ad-lib. And Fallon and Kimmel? Well,…never mind.
