Poll: Who was the biggest jerk of the 2009?

It’s too bad jerk energy can not be bottle and sold on the international market.

If it were, America’s economic recession would have lasted a mere weekend.

I declare 2009 ‘year of the jerk.’ Jerk lover should be pleased.

We enjoyed a fruitful harvest of jerkiness.

There was Tiger and his naughty cubs, Balloon Boy’s whacked out dad, Kanye West being Kanye West, bad dad Jon Gosselin and icky Octomom.

With so many (fill in the blanks) to choose from, it was pretty tough to narrow down a list of top jerks of 2009.

We gave it our best.

Here’s your chance to select 2009’s top jerk.

Come back tomorrow to vote on another poll. Let us know if we’ve left anyone off the list.

Decisions, decisions…

How can we tell which of these people are really jerks when we only have media reports (for the most part) to base our decision on? I would vote the media the biggest jerk of the year for forcing their opinions upon the viewing public and not giving us the opportunity to make an informed decision. Since when is it up to the media to tell us how to think?

Obama needs to be on that list, that jerk is trying his best to ruin what made this country great!

Well Done - why? Because the media made you do it? In my opinion (and I admit that is all this is…an opinion), the media (mainly television news) spends an awful lot of time trying to scare the public, or instead of covering real news stories, they talk about what (insert the name of any of those in the poll) is up to. Would your life be any worse off if you stopped hearing about what these people were doing on a daily basis? I doubt it. In fact, I bet we wouldn’t see such a dumbing down of people as is clearly happening. Instant gratification, obsession over “famous” people, and commercialism have given us a society full of airheads and slackers. Its unfortunate when someone putting in a full day of work is considered an over-achiever.

The award should go to republitards, for blocking everything the democrats are trying to do to make this country better.

Poor John must have had too much egg nog. Obama and Pelosi win the biggest jerks of the year award. Take a look around John, how is the “hope and change” working out for ya? I think the democrats will be happy when our country’s name is changed to “United Socialists of America”!

Anyone who voted for Obama should hands down be the winner of the biggest jerks of 2009. Slam dunk, in the hole, the only choice.

Barack Obama has won a place in history with the worst ratings of any president at the end of his first year: 49% approve and 46% disapprove of his job performance in the latest USA Today/Gallup Poll. There are many factors that explain it, including weakness abroad, an unprecedented spending binge at home, and making a perfectly awful health-care plan his signature domestic initiative. But something else is happening. Mr. Obama has not governed as the centrist, deficit-fighting, bipartisan consensus builder he promised to be. And his promise to embody a new kind of politics—free of finger-pointing, pettiness and spin—was a mirage. He has cheapened his office with needless attacks on his predecessor.

I would award Jerk of the Year to the Republican Party and Fox News, with a special tip of the Jerk hat to Glenn Beck, John Boehner, and Joe Lieberman (if he’s an independent, I’m Sarah Palin).

All the haters who are blaming Obama are the biggest jerks of 2009. They also are on crack since they have lost their short term memory and forgot completely the last 8 years of Bush ruling our nation. He changed our constitution and you idiots agree with that. I am glad he is gone and I wish all you haters would go away too!! Have a nice day..:)

George Bush is the best! I mean, just look at what he did for our country. Look! See? How awesome he was? Why are none of the Republican bleeting Fox news sheep citing anything great Bush did? Oh that’s right, he is a murderous, draft dodging war monger and he put this country in a shame spiral, and none of you defeated, name calling brats were around to tout your criticisms about the worst president in history. If you hate America and our president so much GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

How about everyone calming down and getting together to rebuild America. Be it Bush or Obama the fact is our government has become too big. Our taxes are too high and the arrogant reps in Washington D.C. seem to care only about themselves. The decline of America has been happening for years, and the majority of the hard working Americans have been too busy trying to make a living to pay much attention to the politicians and their greedy self serving goals. We have let the government grow in to a monster with a huge appetite and we need to unite and stop them. Wake up America, being trillions of dollars in debt is not good for any of us.
