Mac and cheese means the holiday in Springfield for singer
Here’s something cheesy: when John Legend thinks of the holidays in Springfield, images of cheese and noodles dance in his head.
Baked macaroni and cheese reminds crooner of his hometown.
The singer/ songwriter tells “Bon Appetit”magazine that he makes his famous mac and cheese when he visits Springfield for the holidays.
“My recipe is a hybrid of stuff I read in a couple of soul food magazines and advice from my mom,” he says in the magazine’s December edition. “I always have to make two batches because it’s very popular in my family.”
Legend said his favorite snacks are bananas, grapes and oranges, but he loves pan fried chicken even though he knows he shouldn’t eat it.
The Grammy award winner’s albums include “Get Lifted,” “Once Again,” and “Evolver.”

Is Sammy Sosa trying to look like Michael Jackson?
Sammy Sosa is looking a lot like the man in the mirror.
The information super highway is all juiced up about photos of the former Chicago Cub steroid user looking much, much whiter than he did during his playing days.
The slugger took to Univision Spanish network to deny rumors that he has lightened his skin or is trying to look like the late, great Michael Jackson, , the Associated Press says.
He said he suffers no skin disease.
Sosa contributed it all to the brightness of TV cameras and a cream he is using to make his skin soft and lovely.
Er, OK.
Sosa might want to check to see if the mysterious cream contains bleach.
What do you think?
