Bill Maher: Obama should punch area congressman in the face
It’s nice that he’s calm, but President Obama needs to get tough and literally start smacking his rivals around, comedian Bill Maher said on “The David Letterman Show” Thursday, Nov. 5.
Maher said Obama gives great speeches, but so did Muhammad Ali.
“It helped that every once in a while he (Ali) punched somebody in the face. And that’s what I would like this president to do, punch somebody in the face,” Maher said. “Take a swing at John Boehner… Stop listening to these crazies. Stop placating them. “
Boehner, R-West Chester, is house minority leader. He represents a portion of the Miami Valley.
The joke on Boehner and Obama drew big laugh from the studio audience. What do you think?
