Seriously, Do you really think that Kate’s dominant personality is to blame? Yeah, she was a little harsh sometimes, but he knew what she was like when he married her. If you watched the episode announcing their split, he was ridiculous. He kept saying how excited he was about the “Next Chapter” in his life. He was looking forward to doing all the things he didn’t get to do because he was so young when he got married, and had 8 kids. Well, do you think Mady, Cara, Aiden, Alexis, Leah, Colin, Joel and Hannah are excited about the next chapter in their lives? Most parents would give their lives to spend more time with their kids, and he can’t wait to get away. Regardless of what you think of Kate, at least she is thinking of her kids and not her new “freedom”. And please quit with the grammar/spelling lessons!

I have sympathy for the children. Couldn’t care less about either of their exploitative media hungry parents. I’m sure a few years from now at least one of these kids or a kid from some other TLC “family” show will be on A&E’s Intervention.

ok from all the seasons i watched i never missed an episode. and to see the way kate was always barkin down his tree all the time and bossin him around like a small child i know really set people off i mean come on you guys would you all like to deal with that EVERYDAY ALL DAY 24/7 havin someone bark at you or show no appreciation for what someone does for you. no wonder he freakin left her now. look at the way shes even treatin their kids im shocked that child services hasnt come after her and gave john total custody yet.

What do you think God would say to Jon and Kate? What happened to wedding vows. Their next chapter should be asking each other to forgive them, stick together, work on their differences and make a happy home for 10 people. Couples get out of their committments way way too easily. Do you think Kate is the only wife that barks are her husband. Especially, with 8 kids….

I believe that the show, showed what people want to see. They are taping all the time and put what they want into a half hour show. Kate could have the occasionally blow up. Seriously would you watch the show if they acted like nothing wrong happens? How boring would that be? They show stuff to get the ratings.

It was one of my fav. shows. I think the show should go off the air now, and they work on there lives and taking care of their kids, they will need them more than ever. I wish them the best.

“Barking” is a lame way to describe how Kate totally emasculated Jon on every show. If she behaved like that in public, how much worse do you think she was in private? Jon obviously loves his kids, has always been a very hands-on dad and even takes time to play with the kids — which Kate never does. All Kate wants to do is dress them up in cute outfits and then scream when they get dirty. I’m sure Jon will remain involved in his kids’ lives, but who can blame him for wanting to be free of Kate’s mean, controlling behavior? Worst of all, she refuses to admit any wrongdoing in the breakup. It’s impossible to fix a marriage if one party won’t take responsibility for some of the problems.

The man was cheating but not with Hally Glassman. So, who cares who he is screwing! The man’s behavior is immoral and deprayed. His behavior is harmful and damaging as far as his children are concern. He has ruined many lives, and he should accept full responsibility.

I don’t know or care what Jon and Kate are doing. I’ve never watched their show. However, ask any family/divorce therapist and they will tell you that it is very common for a former spouse/lover to fall into another’s arms after they separate. Many of us are never truly alone until something like this happens, and it is very painful. ‘Never heard the word “rebound?”

Wake up! Guess who was the one who wanted more kids? It was the reverse mullet porcupine queen. She’s on the same playing level as the octo-mom. The burning desire to pump out a bunch of babies…is a serious mental issue and not “mother instinct”.
