Joy Behar breaks off engagement

Did you know Joy Behar was engaged? If so, know now that the wedding is off. Or postponed. Or put on the shelf while she pursues her own show.

“The View” co-host, who’s getting her own talk show on HLN, told the New York Daily News:

“Actually, I got cold feet again, so I don’t know what I’m going to do. It’s off the table. What’ll happen is, when I decide to do it, I’ll do it, and then everybody will know I did it. I can’t make up my mind.”

In March, Behar, 66, talked vaguely about being engaged to longtime companion Steve Janowitz.

Why do people feel the need for that certificate. Joy does not need someone else benifits, she has her own, well maybe he needs hers. I’d suggest not changing something thats seems to be working.

Joy says, “when I decide to do it, I’ll do it.” Doesn’t it take two people to get married? What if he doesn’t want to do it when she does? She’s a loud mouth know-it-all anyway, he’s probably better off not legally tied to her.
