Joaquin quits acting! OK? Really! It’s true!

Joaquin Phoenix is reiterating his claims that he is finished with acting. To make his point clear, the eccentric star scrawled the words “Good Bye” — but not in that order — in black ink across his knuckles at Saturday’s Los Angeles premiere of his film, Two Lovers.

Phoenix, 34, made headlines last week when he declared his retirement from being an actor. “I think it’s just moving on,” he added Saturday in an interview with the Associated Press. “It’s rediscovering something else.”

Phoenix, who was nominated for an Oscar for his portrayal of country legend Johnny Cash in 2005’s Walk the Line, says he now plans to focus on a music career.

“It’s like greener pastures, you know what I mean?” Phoenix said Saturday. “And so, I’m just going to try and like, I’ll just be doing the other thing … Hopefully, I will emotionally impact you with that, as well.”

Bye! Good.

Oh darn another actor trying to be a singer. Funny how they all do that after they do a movie about being a singer. I like how he was even smart enough to write bye and good backwards. Oh wait they were the right way when he was looking at them.

I enjoyed him in ‘Walk the Line’ but honestly can’t name any of his other works. I would have to go to IMDB.com and scroll through the list to be reminded. He’s not very memorable.
