The West Chester Tea Party will hold its regular monthly meeting on May 17 at EnterTRAINment Junction, 7379 Squire Court, West Chester Twp. Registration and networking is set to begin at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting is set to start at 7 p.m.
The featured speaker for the meeting is U.S. Senate candidate Eric LaMont Gregory, a Middletown native and clinical physiologist. He announced his candidacy on Feb. 17 in Chillicothe.
Gregory is one of the lead researchers in a global effort by the World Health Organization to reduce neonatal mortality in the developing world, according to a West Chester Tea Party press release.
The senatorial candidate is to speak on economic issues and his plans to be the Republican Party candidate for the U.S. Senate. His campaign theme is “faith, personal responsibility, family and enterprise,” according to the tea party release.
According to his website, Gregory is the author of a soon to be released book titled “An End to War,” which is a compilation of four lectures while at Oxford University.
