According to a March CNBC article, the top beer-buy holidays are:

  1. Fourth of July: 63.5 million cases sold

  2. Memorial Day: 61.0 million cases sold

  3. Labor Day: 60.2 million cases sold

  4. Fathers Day: 57.7 million cases sold

  5. Cinco de Mayo: 54 million cases sold

  1. Thanksgiving: 52.8 million cases sold

  2. Christmas: 52.8 million cases sold

  3. Halloween: 50.9 million cases sold

  4. Easter: 50.7 million cases sold

  5. Super Bowl: 49.2 million cases sold

  6. St. Patrick’s Day: 48.7 million cases sold

July 4th, Memorial Day and Labor Day were also the top beer-buying holidays in America in 2009, according to the Nielsen Company. Cinco de Mayo was not included on that list.
