Boehner on Cunningham’s show
Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-West Chester Twp., was on 700 WLW today with Willie Cunningham.
The interview in Cincinnati was about a number of topics, including “how the new majority is working to create a better environment for economic growth by cutting spending and removing government barriers to job creation.”
According to the blog posting by Boehner’s staff, the Speaker: “emphasized that ‘you’re going to see this Congress cut, cut, cut’ spending.”
Other themes from the interview include Boehner saying:
“Deficit spending ‘is causing job creators in America to hold back’ “
” ‘We have to reduce the uncertainty’ ” that’s making employers ‘scared to death to invest’ “
“We’re going to meet our commitments” regarding cutting spending.
Check out the Speaker’s blog posting and audio links to the interview.

John Boehner is right on with his plans. I don’t think he goes deep enough with big business’ lack of patriotism sending jobs overseas. The other side of the coin, Speaker Boehner realizes the dung that is within the White House Admin. wanting to create bigger govt. and greater control of the individual

Ha Ha Mr. Mark got carried away with his contribution! I like the Speaker Boehner and hope he remembers to stick with the thoughts that put him where he is. We don’t want what President Obama wants or secretly wants. We don’t want a govt. that controls our healthcare, our subjects of conversation, force us to be politically correct when we wish to be to the point. I don’t accept the Muslim faith as something good. It is worship of a false god that I will tolerate to a certain extent because of our constitution. I don’t feel Obama is qualified to be able to give information to the Russians that damage our relationship with England. Obama is a mess and I am thankful for Boehner!

I like Speaker Boehner and feel a sense of relief there is a bit more balance to the conservative side. I am very concerned with the past and present connections the President has. For example his work with Acorn that showed up so much corruption. That terrible Rahm Emanuel that wants to get into Daley’s slot in Chicago. The history of the Daley’s have not been good and Emanuel would fit in to the corruption if Chicago has the misfortune. I do not like President Obama giving data to Russia with disregard to our friendship with England. I plan to vote Obama out in 2012. I do support Boehner and hope they oppose interference from Bloomberg, Soros, Van Jones and Cass Sunstein. I hope they stop that net neutrality thing. Go Boehner, go!

John Boehner is the propaganda minister for the GOP. His big lie of 2010 according to Newsweek: Health Care reform is a “Government take over of Healthcare.” His big lies this year are that the healthcare reform will cost 625,000 jobs and is a job killer. “Deficit spending ‘is causing job creators in America to hold back’ ” is a big lie. I defy him to prove it. ” ‘We have to reduce the uncertainty’ ” that’s making employers ‘scared to death to invest’ “ If Boehner really wanted to “end the uncertainty” he would put the brakes on “Free Trade” and raise tariffs on imports until it is cheaper to manufacture products in the USA. “We’re going to meet our commitments” regarding cutting spending.” A strategic pruning of government spending is always a good idea. However, excessive spending cuts would also weaken a shake economy, increase unemployment and would cause us to go into a depression. Just like the spending cuts in 1929 brought on the Great Depression. So far, John Boehner and the GOP have done nothing to improve the outlook for jobs in the USA. Instead they waste time and money trying to repeal the much needed and very constitutional healthcare reform bill instead of trying to improve on it. This bill gets the dead beats that can afford to pay for healthcare, who have been getting over on not paying for it off the backs of the people that do. If you want to get spending under control and reduce the size of government, how about having one senator from each state instead of two and how about cutting the number of representatives in the house in half. Do the same thing in the state houses.

I see nothing wrong and everything good with capitalism. Perhaps some taxes to sway business from sending jobs overseas would be good. That unethical and unconstitutional healthcare bill must go and I appreciate Speaker Boehner for his stand. It would seem foolish to have less senators to represent us sort of giving way for more socialism and less representation of the people. That seems to be the order of the Administration to head into socialism.

Robert Gravano-If the supreme court rules that the healthcare law is unconstitutional, it will be additional proof to me that it is a politically bias enity and not impartial. The conservative justices have well defined records in support of the commerce clause and if they were to find otherwise, it would be clearly politically motivated. Hey, my proposal to reduce the size of government would be far more effective than Boehner’s. Less members in congress does not necessarily mean less representation. Just less politicans. In todays communications systems, do we even need them to make our decisions for us? The fact is, I don’t think most of us feel we are represented now so what do we have to lose? The democrats and Obama are not socialist. That is just another GOP lie.

Lies? Proof LesC? Simple economic theory of supply and demand explains much of what you deny. ObamaCare, runaway deficits, $14 plus trillion in debts and unchecked spending will result in higher taxes and costs for businesses and the consumers they employ, threatening consumption and jobs. It’s that simple. Obama’s just released plan to double employer’s unemployment taxes from $7k to $15k per employee threatens it more. Supply and demand also applies to your simplistic calls to end “Free Trade” as “cheaper” hardly describes the higher costs that will result for consumers. Which is also what ObamaCare will do as again, simple economics says ten years of taxes to pay for six years of services is not sustainable. Plus, let’s not forget a key driver of rising health care costs is due to illegal alien care (California and Texas are proof). The burden to pay for that group will still be on the “backs of people” who work, well that is everyone except unions with Cadillac healthcare plans and the 740 plus other entities (40% unions) who’ve already received waivers to date. Exactly why a majority in America want ObamaCare repealed which is exactly what would happen if we used today’s communications systems to represent us as you suggest.

LesC- The healthcare system could perhaps be more helpful to our citizens with external uplifting from our govt. No infiltration of the system as the current healthcare bill! We don’t want to cover illegals. Hopefully, we can tighten up the borders a bit more and stop the illegal documentation that is created via good investigation. New subject- the mosques. I agree that the legal Muslims have a right to worship as they choose as long as it doesn’t bring violence and danger to our country. It has been proven that some extremist Islamic violence is out there in some of the mosques. I support committees that send investigators to stop the damage before it happens. Otherwise, let them worship their false god in peace.

I stand with Speaker Boehner. I still believe our big business could have been more patriotic and kept business here in America. Money did not have to become more important than the well being of our country. That said, I am glad the healthcare bill was repealed by the House and glad states are refusing to accept it. It must be destroyed because it is a control monster. I am very unhappy with the characters we find our President has in the past or currently surrounds himself with. Van Jones, Cass Sunstein, Mayor Bloomberg and George Soros. All people who are radicals, that have plans to place controls on our freedom of speech as well as other areas. The fact that Obama was affiliated with Acorn is really disappointing. Organizations that sucked in money used for socialist gain with very poor ethics. I am pleased to have John Boehner represent us.

Boehner is a crook…..always has been , and always will be . He’s in the pockets of big business . And….will always do what is best , concerning big business . Versus the little guys and girls in his district . In the nearly twenty years , he’s been in office…..I can’t name one thing , that he’s done . That has brought any large number of jobs to Southwest Ohio…. or enriched the economy . Or made any attempt to retain , the larger number of jobs….that have left the region . He’s notorious for taking ” PAK ” money….from those he tends to their needs . Until 2012 , and a new President is elected….or Obama is given a second term…..he and his GOP congressional co-hearts . Have been given a free ride . To act like they are going to do something constructive in the next two years . Stop kidding yourself…..boot this guys butt out of office , at next election . He’s got a whole bunch of your voters…..fooled …..!

I have great respect for Speaker Boehner as my congressman and speaker. He understands the trouble that is within the Administration. He realizes there are people who want to control more of our freedoms than we are willing to give up! Obama is trying to present himself as a mild, moderate leader. The truth is he waits to push an agenda like that pathetic healthcare bill, legislation on false documentation regarding environmental issues, that net-neutrality garbage, acceptance of the Islamic cult that has much violence within and many more things that would blemish the wonderful America we have. Yes, for Boehner. A good man!

I support the Speaker Boehner but question his belief in the President’s place of birth and/or his possible Muslim faith. If the President is Muslim, I am NOT comfortable with that! Muslims do not place Christ as the risen savior. Anyway, back to Boehner. Good man, cutting budget efforts. I hope to see the healthcare bill derailed. I have no faith in Obama and his community organizing. His association with George Soros, Van Jones and Cass Sunstein takes away from his credibility, if he had any at all. I have expectations from Boehner and hope he does not allow himself to be fooled by the President.

Boehner is O.K. I think some of the cuts he makes to the budget is to weaken the stinking healthcare bill. That ding bat Justin Cousoule wanting strong gun legislation has had his head under the sand. I want less gun regulation because we have a right to keep and have arms for our protection without govt. interference. Those who misuse guns should be punished according to the crimes they commit. I hope Boehner makes enough cuts to weaken the corrupt unions that are sucking up money as well. With James Hoffa, the son, at the top of the Teamsters, there is still room for question about what goes on there. My support is with Boehner.

I see the whole picture with Mr. Speaker going against the healthcare bill. I agree the bill needs to be repealed, money cut off and whatever to stop it! We have the Islam uproar overseas and fail to see that problems can potentially come here regarding their godless law that they call holy. Christ is the God that made America strong and is the Lord that I support to the end. While America offers freedom to worship as we choose, we would be foolish to accept the Islamic laws that go against the grain of our constitution. Again, I do support Mr. Boehner.
