Combs and Coley get house committee assignments

Ohio Reps. Courtney Combs and Bill Coley will serve as chairs on house committees.

Combs, R-Hamilton, was appointed today, Jan. 11, by Ohio House Speaker William Batchelder, R-Medina, to serve as chairman of the Transportation, Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee during the 129th General Assembly.

He will also serve on the State Government and Elections Committee—where he will also be on the Redistricting Subcommittee—as well as the Insurance Committee.

Coley, R-Liberty Twp, was appointed today by Batchelder to serve as chairman of the Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development Committee during the 129th General Assembly.

He’ll also serve on the Public Utilities, Judiciary and Ethics, and Criminal Justice committees.
