Combs absolved of alleged elections violation

State Rep. Courtney Combs, R-Hamilton, was absolved of any wrongdoing for alleged elections law violations.

Combs was accused by the Butler County Democratic Party of not having a disclaimer identifying a treasurer on a campaign yard signs posted across the street from the Sacred Heart Festival in Fairfield.

The commission did not state anything further than the fact there was no violation found.

Attached is the letter Combs provided the Journal-News. Any thoughts?

Am assuming since the “alleged violation” occurred in Fairfield and the opposing candidate lives in Fairfield that it simply was a coincidence? Combs is a very fair and honest man and we are lucky to have him. It isn’t all about the ego with him!
