Reaching out to the Hispanic community

A reader asked what they’re going to do for the Hispanic community?

Cindy Carpenter said in the Clerk of Courts office, she has a bilingual office worker to help out Spanish-speaking customers.

“We do everything to make sure our customers are served with respect and dignity,” she said.

Butch Hubble said he’d do the same thing for every ethnic group.

“We’re one family,” he said. “I’m going to do the same thing for all the groups. Everyone in my eye are equal….”

Carpenter agreed with that statement by Hubble.

As far as voting next month I think we need to assure the Hispanics are legal citizens before they can vote. I strongly support John Boehner, Portman and Kasich! We need people that will look to close the border and create a system to provide work permits, temporary visas and deport them as required. I also want to see the healthcare bill repealed, no cap and trade and no deals with United Nations regarding our gun rights. We are a separate nation that stands on her own.

Don’t “reach out” any further than you would for any other ethnicity, and make sure they are legal if you “reach out” at all”!

Just want to say Hyden and Michael are both right. We certainly need our borders closed, and those who vote should be legal. We need equality, not bending over backward to please one group of people. It has gotten out of hand. And of course if a Caucasian comments they are accused of racism.

ok first of all a illegal person cannot vote, there’s no way that it can vote. also even if they were legal there aint no way this hispanics can vote they have to be citizens only citizens can vote, and whatever you guys are doing because trying to get legal permissions for them to get deporter isnt nice, so what you all telling us is that you guys want to use there vote and thats it and turn them back to their country….instead of closiing there borders guys should stop being racist and stop separating families that way you guys do cause its not easy to see there broken hearts for you guyses faults, innocent people that you guys dont even know.

“Reach out” to the “community” that supports 14 year old rapists, gangs at Middletown High, drug smugglers, scab labor & drunk drivers? Why? Seems like a better idea is to shame them into assimilating to the “community” that THEY CHOSE to be a part of. No one held a gun to their heads and forced them to come to OUR “community”.

For starters, the U.S. have been so busy trying to PLEASE everyone that sneaks across our borders, and not protecting our “own”, that we are not in the mess of all the “illegals.” It’s been a process over many years. We are the most “tolerant” country on the planet. Other countries have more “sense” to monitor what comes and goes through their borders….we can learn from MEXICO.

Anyone who is TRULY interested in Gun Rights or Civil Rights will vote for the Democrat on the ballot this year. Even the NRA agrees! They endorsed Strickland over the guy who hired a former porn star to pretend to be an unemployed steel worker in his TV Ads! We don’t need any MORE phoneys in politics — Vote Coussoule and get Boehner out and vote D down the ticket.

I’m not a Republican, but I’ll vote straigh Republican this year! The Dems and Obama’s mess have to go…and all the illegal Hispanics need to go right along with them. By the way “Chris”, your Mexican education shows! Quit trying to pass yourself off as something you aren’t. Get out of here, and take ALL your family with you. If you want to be here, and worry about breaking up families, then do what’s necessary to be here legally. Stop teaching your kids that it’s alright to break laws when it suits you. GO BACK TO MEXICO where you belong!

Reaching out? I’m reaching out all right - reaching right to my phone to dial Sheriff Jones and have him pick up every single illegal I find!

Ask any employee at the sheriff’s office and they will tell you Jones is only out for himself. They all hate him. He only works part time never there on Mondays and leaves to drive Don Dixon around.

To “get the trueth” (nice spelling by the way), I know several people who work with Jones, and they DON’T “all hate him”! Some may, but it’s not ALL of them by any means. Secondly, Jones HAS arrested illegals when he knows that they are here illegally! I’ve seen them arrested, and twice I’ve been partially involved in the arrest. Before you speak, know what you’re talking about!

The old saying fits here, “When in Rome, Do as the Romans do”!! Reaching out is fine but don’t bend over backwards. If we visit Mexico are they going to bend over backwards to accomodate us? NO! Reach out and give them a chance to become a citizen which includes paying taxes and being held accountable for their actions. Sherriff Jones is right: we house too many illegals for free!! If their illegal, it’s ok to arrest them. That’s an illegal act. Mexicans are playing a BIG game with America. When are we going to wake up and smell the coffee? when they “take over”?
