A change in meetings
I just found out this morning (Thursday, Sept. 30) that the Butler County Commission will hold off on its semi-weekly meetings until November due to the lengthy budget meetings set for October.
Beginning Monday, Oct. 4, the day will be dedicated to hear the budgets for several departments, beginning at 8 a.m. with the Domestic Relations Court. Each session is set to be about a half hour.
Budget hearings will continue at 9 a.m. on Oct. 18 and 25. Both will also be day-long sessions.
Stay tuned to this blog as I plan to write about the sessions throughout the day.
Are you disappointed the Thursday meetings won’t resume until November? Anything with the budget you’d like to see happen?
