Jolivette’s (somewhat inaccurate) campaign video

I’m told the video below is running on cable. It’s from Butler County Commission President Gregory Jolivette’s re-election campaign.

It’s worth noting, however, that Butler County no longer has the lowest sales tax rate in the state, as the video claims. Stark County recently lowered theirs to 6 percent, a full .25 percent lower than Butler County’s.

I corrected him during our endorsement interviews. He looked disturbed that I was aware of the state sales tax rates but maybe he did not have time to change the video.

Jolivette also was responsible for the emergency radio tax that never went away after the stated time period. Jolivette also didn’t want to return millions of extra money the seniors tax raked in. Jolivette was in favor of raising the property conveyance tax. What do you expect from a liberal democrat turned republican which is the definition of a RINO.

Jolivette never lets the facts interfere with his own interest.

and when the state of ohio takes over stark county in a fiscal emergency situation they will force the sales tax back on stark county and then once again Butler County WILL have the lowest sales tax rate.
