I find it interesting that while the county is strapped for money, they can spend $11,552 on travel.

How many of these contracts up for approval were actually bid out? Does anyone know of any contracts on this agenda that are being awarded as political payback? If so, point them out so ethics complaints can be filed.

Don Dixon said several weeks ago all contracts would be bid, thus since Don has never, ever mislead the voters of Butler County we must assume that all these contracts were bid. Get real, none of them were bid, and Don Dixon has once again fed everyone a bunch of Bull.

Notice how the amounts of some of the contracts are conveniently left off the minutes.

Tim, that’s the transparency that Commissioner Dixon is always talking about.

Don, I have always believed in you as doing the “right thing” for this county. Can you explain the questions and concerns that have been noted here?

Yes Don explain: How you can vote to cut all departments except the Bd. of Elections, Sheriff and Prosecutor who are ran by your close friends. How you can insist on all contracts being bid and then push through a contact for over a $100,000 for one of your pet projects. How one week you talk of transparency and the next week allow an agenda with cost of budget items be not included. How you can vote to cut some salaries in the same meeting you vote to increase other salaries. I once thought you were different, now I think you are talking out of both sides of your mouth at the same time, did you learn that from the sheriff.
