Jewett to fill in at top county job

Butler County commissioners named an interim county administrator today, Dec. 3, who will take the county’s reins until they can find a permanent replacement.

The job goes to Bruce Jewett, who will also continue serving his role of director of Job and Family Services.

Jewett replaces Tim Williams, who announced in November that his last day would be Dec. 11.

It’s probably neither legal nor ethical, but I’m sure it’s typical, and maybe even required for Butler County politics.

Just remember, In Butler county, its the “Party” first and the people last. If your looking for a job, just join he “Party” and rub a few elbows and wha’la your hired. Don’t think so?, just look at the current makeup of county office holders.
