Turner’s farewell
The breakup was ugly, but Emergency Management Director William Turner’s relationship with Butler County was long and meaningful, he said.
At the meeting where Turner handed his resignation to the EMA governing board, Turner presented a synopsis of his 10-plus years with the county. It’s below, and includes accolades from a former county commission (the current commission was instrumental in his ouster).

I wonder if in hind sight anyone now realizes what they have lost. Considering the millions of dollars for equipment and help following past floods, snow, and wind storms and no help on this summer’s flooding, was the commissioners right?
