Turner: ‘We never go looking for a free lunch’
In response to criticism of how much the Butler County Emergency Management Agency spends on meals at training workshops, EMA Director William Turner created the following report for County Administrator Tim Williams.
In it, Turner explains what the money is spent on, and lays out most of the recent training events (though not all, as the $900 spent at the Montgomery Inn Boathouse is not on the list). The total listed over the last 12 months: $12,554.25.

Again Josh and the Journal News run with another story full of half truths and somehow use the commissioner’s remarks as validation. It’s election time. They wouldn’t defend anyone right now if it wasn’t going to get them a vote. If this event were held at the old Hamiltonian or the mayor’s new establishment and the costs were the same, nothing would be said. It show’s on the list included in the story, Mr. Turner provided several other meals that were more expensive but nothing was written about them because it wasn’t as sensational as the Mongomery Inn. This was for a REGIONAL exercise planning meeting covering 4 counties. The world does not end at the Butler County borders.By County Truth Squad

Truth hurts, and the paperwork doesn’t lie. The fact remains Turner and his crony friends from Oxford are sucking up taxpayer money to feed themselves. The State has imposed limits on food expenses for all areas of State agencies. If the County Commissioners had any brains, they would pass a resolution to stop this. Without any rules clowns like Turner will continue to suck off the taxpayers.By More County Truth Squad

There are problems with food in other places too. Pat Burg at the board of health never misses a meal! She takes up money collections from the staff and then the left overs go home to her and her dogs and gets mad if someones takes “her food”. She then pretends to have these “working Lunches” too by making staff sign training sheets and charges taxpayers their money for her to eat. Sadly, she makes almost twice as much money as anyone else at the board of health but steals from them to feed herself. She also makes people pay for flowers and uses the money to send to HER friends and cronies.By OMG

Was alcohol involved, if not you guy’s can really put the food away. How do i get, a job like this.
