This is another step down the short road of lost integrity for the Sheriff. If you ask me, all that he’s done is entirely for what’s best for him, and only him. He uses illegal immigration to pull on the heartstrings of the voters, but uses the vote surge only to further his own political career. He has shown that he likes to police everyone else’s back yards, but won’t take care of his own. The only people he apparently is interested in taking care of are the people who contribute to his campaigns, as shown above. Does this pass the smell test, Butler County? Is there anybody in the Butler County Republican Party who has any integrity at all? If you’re out there, we need you now more than ever. After all, Jones goes live on WLW with Bill Cunningham, and wants to smack the Republican candidate McCain for things he’s done, but then wants to display complete self-interest in his own camp. Anytime he wants something done, he runs to seat-swapper Courtney Combs to get something passed. We’d better wake up fast, Butler County.

How does one get to ‘know the sheriff’ I’d like to work for $75,000.00 a year and would be glad to give him $25,000 a year for giving me the job. For those of us looking for work this is a good deal.

Well, we at least we know that no illegial mexican is going to take one of the appraisers jobs, since to get this position you must know the sheriff. I’ll never look at the sheriff in the same positive way again, he’s just another crooked politician taking care of himself while putting up a front for the voters.
