This made my day…
This afternoon I was in a shop in Yellow Springs when a woman approached me and said: “I bought that cookbook you covered the other day.” She was referring to the “Bonne Femme Cookbook” by Wini Moranville.
It made my day. That is why I review books. That is why I interview authors. If someone reads a book because of me I feel rewarded. That’s why I do this.
And it is so exciting to anticipate reading more worthy books and sharing them with readers. Now I can’t wait for Valentine’s Day. That is when the new book by my favorite comedienne, Sara Benincasa will be released. “Agorafabulous!: Dispatches from My Bedroom” (Harper) will be utterly fabulous. I just know it…
