Looking inside Iran

Discover Iran

Recently I had the opportunity to interview Andrew Imbrie Dayton and Elahe Talieh Dayton about their book “The House That War Minister Built”. The novel is set in Iran-a country that Elahe knows very well.

If you have an interest in Iranian history this book provides quite an overview of a country that we read about frequently in the newspaper. How much do we really know about Iran and the Iranian people? You could learn some things you probably didn’t know if you listen to my interview with the Daytons this Sunday morning at 11 on WYSO. Tune in to 91.3 fm for our conversation about this fascinating story set in that mysterious land.

Oh, and by the way, Andrew Dayton is a direct descendant of the man who gave his name to Dayton, Ohio…..

At this point I remember Iran was trying to interfere with what we were doing in Iraq and they are currently creating nuclear material that could be used against our friends like Israel. I believe Iran could receive technological help from Russia or other countries to create nuclear weapons. OBama is so anti-American that he is doing little to stand up to any country that involves Islam. As a Christian I have no respect for Islamists, only respect for their right to freedom in worship. Unfortunately, their worship involves hatred of America and Israel.

HLee, agreed, but if Israel tells we have to, then we have to. Never mind that the CIA is 1000% responsible for Iran being a theocracy instead of the oldest democracy in the Islamic Middle East….

It is pitiable and disgusting to see that the mainstream media are once again beating the drums for war, just as they did before the Iraq invasion. And will the American people once again fall in lockstep and cheer and shout for spending a zillion more dollars, that this country doesn’t have, to bomb 100,000 innocent people into oblivion? Probably. Why not? After all, It’s not our mothers and fathers and our little kids being slaughtered.
