There are so many wonderful cookbooks. We have an ancient copy of “The Joy of Cooking” which occupies a place of honor on our cookbook shelf. There are many classic cookbooks. Do you have a favorite one?

Thanksgiving is coming up quickly. Which cookbook(s) are you planning to use to prepare for this holiday and all the others coming soon after?

I use a variety, “Joy” would be the choice for the guide to cook the turkey, but “Better Homes and Garden” binder cookbook is my choice for pumpkin pie because of the number of spices called for. (Mine is not the easily-recognizable red plaid one. Mine is a gold special edition one from the 50s.)
