When a writer knows he has finally made it…
Well, it finally happened. Donald Ray Pollock’s amazing debut novel “The Devil All The Time” was just reviewed in THE WASHINGTON INDEPENDENT REVIEW OF BOOKS.
Readers might have read my review of the book which appeared last month in this newspaper. Pollock hails from southern Ohio. He still lives in Chillicothe. He was recently featured in the New York Times. He was interviewed the other day on NPR’s FRESH AIR. I interviewed him on WYSO. In fact, I took some excerpts from my interview and included them in my WIRoB piece. OK, I admit it, I wrote that review too. I love this book!
