Yellow Springs, Cityfolk, baseball, etc.

Big holiday weekend on tap. If you are at the Cityfolk Festival this weekend in Dayton I hope you will check out the music at the Dance Pavilion on Friday night. I’ll be introducing the bands. Great music. Decadent food. Fabulous family fun. That’s the Cityfolk Festival.

Baseball fans, don’t miss my interview Friday on WYSO. My guest will be Paul Dickson. The Dickson Baseball Dictionary (Norton) just came out in paperback. An amazing book. I’ll be talkin’ baseball with Paul at 1:30 at 91.3fm and www.wyso.org.

And the Rand McNally crew came through Yellow Springs this week. Check out this fun video~ click HERE:

Vick, I plan on seeing Junior Brown on Saturday night. I’m a big fan. Maybe I will come down tonight. I saw that the NY Times seems to think the 4th of July celebrations, parades, fireworks, etc., are somehow only really enjoyed by Republicans. I don’t agree, but if true, what kind of people are Democrats? Anyway, have a great 4th of July weekend, and good luck with your appearance tonight.
