Wal-Mart won’t touch this red hot book…
One of the hottest selling books of the summer will be published next week-“Go the __ to Sleep” by Adam Mansbach. According to the New York Times:
“…the book has a clearly identified reader demographic — parents of young children — some of the stores whose shoppers fit that profile have refused to carry it. Wal-Mart, for instance, has declined to sell the book.”
The book has been one of the top-sellers on Amazon.com for weeks. Here’s more from the article:
“A strategically placed moon on the cover obscures part of the offending four-letter word in the title, which seemed to satisfy many booksellers.” Apparently, the book is a bit too much for Wal-Mart. They won’t be carrying it. To read the rest of the article click HERE:
