Amazon.com rolls out unlimited video streaming
Every morning I log on to the Amazon.com website to see which books are selling well. Today there’s a big front page announcement about Amazon’s newest enticement, unlimited streaming of 5000 movies and TV shows. Members of Amazon’s Prime subscription service will get this additional enhanced service for free. And of course they are offering free 30 day trial subscriptions.
Amazon was already the internet book selling beast. Now they are flexing their muscle in the realm of video on demand. One can imagine that the folks over at Netflix can’t be very pleased… To read more click HERE:

I can’t imagine why Netflix would be displeased. Every time the movie industry restricted Netflix’s ability to distribute movies, Netflix acceded to their demands. Netflix has never said no to the movie industry, and the movie industry has never stopped shafting Netflix. Netflix developed this market, and now Hollywood is going to hand it to Amazon on a platter.
