Barack Obama vs. Sarah Palin
This hour’s best-selling books on Amazon.com are somewhat amusing. Sarah Palin’s new book, “America by Heart : Reflections on Family, Faith, and Flag” and Barack Obama’s new children’s book, “Of Thee I Sing” are battling it out for Amazon sales.
The Obama book came out 2 weeks ago and it is currently #17 on the Amazon sales chart. The Palin book came out this week and it did briefly crack the top ten on Amazon. Briefly. It still trailed books by George W. Bush, Mark Twain, Jay-Z, and that Wimpy Kid. It has just dropped from #18 last hour to #20 this hour on Amazon.
Both books currently have red arrows pointing downward. Those arrows indicate that at least for the moment, both books are experiencing sales declines over at Amazon.
Palin vs. Obama on the book sales charts; is this a possible sneak peak at our 2012 presidential election choices?

Here’s one more Amazon update. This hour the Obama book is #21. The Palin book has dropped to #26. Here’s the kicker: “Kardashian Konfidential” has just surged past both Obama and Palin to claim the #20 spot this hour. I don’t even want to think about what that says about America. I can’t even think about it…

This hour on Amazon: the Obama book is #20 with an arrow pointing up. The Palin book is #22-the arrow pointing down…Palin is on book tour right now promoting her book. Obama is probably dribbling downcourt with his Secret Service agents blocking out all defenders…

Just curious, but is Hyden Kash’s email coming from the same server as used by E. Vadin Taxes? Volume 2 of Twain’s autobiography will quickly separate the Americans in your readership from the imperialists. Volumes two and three contain incendiary denunciations of American imperialism, and speak directly to mess we’ve made of the Middle East. God forbid but critical thinking about our foreign policy may be about to receive a hundred-year-old jump start.

I want to read President Obama’s book. I’m so glad he wrote something for his girls that he can share with us. It must be very difficult for them sometimes because people can be heartless and cruel when they express their opinions about government. Oh, and Have a good Christmas, Mr. Mickunas!

Obama’s radical agenda “redistribute the wealth”; ObamaCare/mandates; bailing out banks and GM; and calling his opposition “our Enemy”, etc., etc…. is troublesome to say the least. Hope Americans are paying attention. GOP has many very qualified and more well-rounded candidates.

I just got “Of Thee I Sing” for my grandson. It’s wonderful! The illustrations are beautiful! The President tells his children how he loves them and compares their positve traits to well-known figures, (Ex. You are creative like Georgia O’Keefe.), then has a short paragraph about the figure. He deliberately features a diverse selection of men, women, white, black, Native American, Hispanic figures. It’s a lovely book and all of Mr. Obama’s profits are being donated to a children’s charity.

They are both clowns! I am amazed at people slamming Palin for the same qualities Obama has. Obama has a teleprompter and they criticize her for bringing notes or writing on her hand. Give me a break. Both clowns can’t talk through a single issue. Blah blah blah.

I purchased the Obama book for my grandson. It’s wonderful! The President tells his children how much he loves them and compares their positive traits with those of well-known figures and gives a short paragraph about each figure. (Ex. You are creative like Georgia O’Keefe.) He deliberately includes a cross section of people, men, women, white, black, Native American, Hispanic. The illustrations are delightful! It’s a beautiful love letter to all children. And the proceeds go to a children’s charity.

The surest way for The Community Organizer to get re-elected a second term, is for the republicans to run Sarah Palin against him. She is WAY too polarizing…

I am for Sarah Palin’s book. I hope she does well. As for Obama, his actions speak for him. His dealings with the United Nations step all over our constitutional rights. The United Nations are made up to work together as countries to prevent wars and encourage unity. They are not made up to tell America what is acceptable inside our country. Obama has got to go in 2012. The clowns he has dealt with like George Soros, Mayor Bloomberg and Cass Sunstein need to be pushed away from influencing our government! Go Sarah! Sell those books, dear!

The real challenge to determine which book has the better value is to consider the authors. With Hussein, you get the stimulus that didnt stimulate, record unemployment, failed marxism, and future confiscatory tax hikes. With Palin you got no state income tax, as a resident a yearly energy refund and one of the most efficient state governments in the nation. To do the final assesment here doesnt appear to take alot of “rocket science”.

I don’t think at this point book sales or content will really determine anything about the 2012 election. I do, however, hope that our public realizes the kind of man Obama is and that is unbelieveable behavior with the United Nations and seeking their involvement in internal issues covered by our constitution. The human rights and our gun rights must never be placed on the line for outside countries to control as governing boards. Obama, Mayor Bloomberg and George Soros have unhealthy alliances and need to be understood as they really are. Marxists. They want to hand over what is NOT their’s to hand over.

The real point about which “book” is more usable to america is the results of dealing with the authors. With Hussein, you get a stimulus that didnt stimulate, record unemployment, record high taxes and marxism that doesnt work. With Palin you got no state taxation, an energy refund yearly as a resident and one of the most efficient governments in the nation. To determine which works better for you doesnt seem to be real “rocket science” here.

There is no question that Obama’s book is written for someone with the mentality of an 8 year old. Most other WORKING americans understand marxism simply doesnt work. I could really care less what amazon says or doesnt say about the book. The bottom line is our “president” is bent on destroying the financial fabric of this nation and the only way to defeat this type of radical marxism is at the ballot box. Even if the Palin book simply retyped the local white pages, it would be and is the better choice as it doesnt have the same type of cancerous nature.

This just doesn’t strike me as being very Presidential. A kids book just seems more like a 1st Lady thing. But, judging by sales, it would appear I’m in the minority.

President Obama’s book is written for someone 8 years old and Sarah Palin’s book was written by someone with the mentality of an 8 year old. I can only hope she wins the republican nomination. She’ll make Christine O’donnel’s candidacy for senate in Delaware look competitive

OK, I just checked Amazon’s hourly book sales chart and Obama’s book now has a green upward pointing arrow meaning sales are rising and he is up to #16. His book was written for readers aged 4 to 8 by the way. The Palin book is back up to #19 but it still has a downward pointing red arrow which means that sales were declining over the past hour.

Sarah Palin’s popularity is pretty much undeniable. Despite that fact, I think she is unelectable. I’m sure democrats are hoping that she will be the republican choice. She can do more for the republican agenda by continuing on with what she is doing now. Had she not been on McCain’s losing ticket, not resigned as a Governor, and stayed out of the reality show business, maybe she could be a viable candidate. Her life has become too much of an open book (no pun intended). Republicians in general seem to respect her ideas, but are they ready to risk the party’s gains of the 2010 midterms?

Silly question? The smart American voter, always selects his/her US President by how they do on the Amazon book sales.
