What’s cooking on Black Friday?

what to do with that leftover turkey

Those cookbooks are coming out of hibernation as many of us are preparing for those upcoming holiday meals. Some cookbooks are old reliables. Do you have a favorite cookbook? a tried and true, dog-eared, bookmarked, butter spotted, cookbook?

There will be tons of leftover turkey throughout the Miami Valley come Friday after Thanksgiving. Would you like to hear about a new recipe that might help you dispatch with some of that superfluous fowl in a rather tasty way?

Tune in this Friday afternoon for my interview with the food writer Amanda Hesser. She has just put together the mammoth “Essential New York Times Cookbook”.

We’ll be talking food and lots of it this Friday at 1:30 on WYSO (91.3fm).
